Out in The Somme - Third Division Memorial Located along the ridge overlooking Sailly-le-Sec. It was at this location, on 27 March 1918 that the Third Division, on orders from General Monash, rushed the 11th Brigade in to halt the German progress towards Amiens. The crash site of the Red Baron is also nearby.
